When I started Max Connections in 2010, I wasn’t sure what I would do with it. It just seemed like a good idea at the time.
I’m a media producer and adjunct professor at the University of Alabama. This is where I play with stuff in my spare time.
I’ve ended up posting a lot of music videos, most of which were shot at the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic, an annual music festival which my wife, Cindy, and I enjoyed attending for several years. We haven’t been able to attend the festival in recent years due to Cindy’s health, but I recommend it to anyone who loves blues music as I do.
I’ve written about various other things through the years. Some things I’ve posted here in the past are gone now because they seemed dated. I’ll come up with new things as time passes.
Cindy and I have three daughters and one grandson of whom we’re very proud. We have both retired from full-time work, but I enjoy teaching part-time at UA because I hope that sharing my personal and professional experience with students will help them get started on their careers.

That’s enough about me. Thanks for spending some time here.
